Game #22 vs High Point

We lead 30-23 at the half. Avery and Devon with 8 each. Avery also has 8 boards, as does Tolu.

Another ugly win at home for our ladies as they hang on to win 58-57, after leading by 12 in the second half.
Avery had 18 points and 14 rebounds. Devon finished with 15.
UNCA beat Radford today, so we are alone in first place at 8-1.

"Ugly" is polite. We are sure having trouble at the foul line and finishing off games. We can't have opponents driving the lane with seconds to go to potentially beat us. But, we'll take the win! That's great news about Radford - nice to be back on top!

Another grind it out win. Last year we won by an average of 17 points a game. This year it's a little over 4 a game. Foul shooting our nemisis. Did anyone see Emily Frazier after her foul shot miss at the end of the game take a swipe at the rebounder? Can you imagine if they called her for a foul with .5 seconds remaining and HP in the double bonus?
That's why coach cleared the foul lane to avoid that.
