Game #18 vs. Charleston Southern

Halftime score:
LU 30
CSU 19
We could easily be up by 20 in this one. Once again the problem is sloppy turnovers and missed layups. CSU are the mad bombers of the BSC. They have made at least 3 or 4 shots from NBA 3 point range. (Obviously, they have missed a lot too).

Final score:
LU 63
CSU 46
We were up by as much as 22 and certainly had every opportunity to make this a blowout, but it was a much-needed win against a team that came in with a 3 game winning streak. 30 of CSU's 46 points came from 3. Avery led the way with 14 points and 16 rebounds.

Good recovery after a tough one on Monday night...could have been a lot worse than it was but the game really was never in doubt in the second half even with CSU hitting 10 3s. they never got that big time run that you know could come from a team that plays the run and gun style...celebrate tonight and then get ready for Coastal Monday night

We've been having issues with getting stories from Saturday games posted so I'm just going to post them myself from now on. Most stories from 7 p.m. games should be posted no later than 10:30 or 11.

I believe Chippy gets credit for that Nostradamis-like post.

We still havent lost back to back conference games under coach Green. seems whenever we have a loss in conference mid-year we end up going on one of those big rolls where almost no one can stop us but ourselves...Im hoping for one of those starting with this win today
