High Point, Gardner Webb and LU will be in the mix for conference championship. This game should give us a pretty good idea how we stack up with the competition. Both HP and GW have veteatrn teams with good guards and height in frontcourt. We have a shot if we can keep TO's to @ 15-16 and shoot better than we have so far.

We just have to throw out the beginning of this year and just focus on conference play now. Fortunately, our last two games have been inspiring.

Actually it was 68-60 win. It seemed to be a game of runs. HPU cut it to 5 at half and then we go on a 10-0 run and then extend the lead. Devon Brown was the player of the game and it looks like her game is improving. Omotola had her best game yet with 12 boards and 9 points. We seemed to much better in the turnover category this game. A nice win on the road.

This was their best game to date. Turnovers under 20 :D Now if we can get the foul shooting taken care of then we'll be a tough team to beat. Coach needs to have the best foul shooters in the game in situations like tonight. He had 2 of the worst in the lineup at then end??!!?? Foul shooting and turnovers are our achilles heel. We took care of one of them today.

Considering the competition on the road, this was a huge win to boost confidence and to set the tone for the rest of league play.

I realize I'm being optimistic, but I think we've finally figured out our problems. The BIG things were turnovers, and a lack of offense. In the last 3 games, these seem to have been fixed.

I think we're finally back to a Big South champion caliber team, but only time will tell.
