I certainly hope Avery is at or near 100% for this one. Baylor doesn't have the balance and depth A&M had and they don't press as much, so we may match up better if we can keep Griner from putting up huge numbers.

It’s a win if we keep it within 30.

Yikes! Baylor has 4 McDonalds All Americans in their lineup. May see some Brittney Griner dunks today. They and UCONN should be in the WNBA.

Baylor's coach, Kim Mulkey thinks we are rebuilding from graduation losses. I guess they didn't spend too much time scouting us.

Look out for two things. LU turnovers and Brittney Griner's blocks. She had 3 blocks in the 59 seconds.

Why on earth can't Coach Green get this team to STOPPPPP committing so many turnovers??? Why-- it's been an issue for the last several years!

You make it sound like we were bad last year. We did win our conference.

What is wrong is we are playing nationally ranked teams without our best player.

I just don't understand all of the turnovers. Even Avery had a part in that last year. For some reason, this team is TO prone this season and it doesn't look like it is going to get better anytime soon.

The thing is we're not even doing the fundamentals well-- like dribbling the ball. Devon can't dribble for everyone. We need some guards who know how to handle the ball in the future... we always get these subpar ball handlers...

Turnovers are not really hurting us right now. Its shooting and rebounding and we are fouling like crazy.

Shooting 22% is not going to win you alot of games, I dont' care who you are playing

I would have thought that Dymond Morgan would have been an adequat replacement for Amber Mays but that is not the case so far this year. Poor point guard play has been a major problem so far this year with the exception of the obvious.

Avery has only played 6 minutes in the half as Green sticks with his hard and fast rule of benching players for the half with 2 fouls. She may not be a match for Griner, but she's the closest we have. The big girl is having a career half scoring with 19 already to go with 6 blocks.

Griner is making us look pathetic... Just her alone... Coach Green should know how to handle her being that we had Katie Feestra as a 6'8" player several years ago... he should know how she's going to play and prep our players... terrible.. I know you can't stop everything..but she's going to make some records against us tonight if we don't handle her. Good teams always seem to make Liberty look realllly bad.

Too many easy baskets for Baylor. Everytime we turn it over they get an easy one on the other end.

The reality the best shooters in HS go to the top schools. We haven't had a sharpshooter at LU in a long time. We rely on height and offensive rebounds to make up for the average guard play and turnovers. It would be nice to see a top HS player/guard (top 100) sign with LU. I'm hoping that when Devon comes back that Jelena (2) and Emily (1) will be the guards. I like Jasmine Gardner and her quickness and nose for the ball at some point breaking into the lineup in the 4.

I disagree. Shooters are a dime a dozen. Top Flight D1 schools are more intersted in recruiting athletes and honing their skills.
