Antic helped Macedonia finish ninth in the tournament by scoring at least 23 points in each of her six appearances and recording five double-doubles. Her most impressive performance came against eventual tournament champion Great Britain on July 18. Antic tallied 25 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists and three steals, as her team suffered a narrow 70-69 setback.

Antic was the tournament’s leading scorer (25.0 ppg) and rebounder (12.3 rpg), while ranking No. 2 overall in free throw percentage (86.0), No. 3 in steals (3.2 spg), No. 5 in assists (3.3 apg) and No. 6 in blocked shots (1.2 bpg). The event was open to players under the age of 20.
Those are some impressive numbers. And how often does a tournament MVP come from the 9th place team?

Congratulations to Jelena!
