After a slow start the lady Flames are up 34-24 with 1:20 in the half. Avery with 16 and Devon with 10.

CSU scores the last 5 points of the half to cut the lead to 34-29. Really bailed them out on a foul with 4 seconds left when they were in no position to score.

Early in the second half CSU has cut the lead to 1. Devon scores to make it 37-34.

51-41 with 11:10 to play. CSU staying in the game by hitting 9-20 from 3. We have shut down Katie Tull, but in doing so have given really good looks to their other shooters.

Amber Mays makes it 57-44 with a little jumper in the lane. Avery and Devon now both have double-doubles.

Once again, we finished with a very sloppy last 2-3 minutes.

Tull, who was second to Devon in BSC scoring, was held scoreless. Devon should be a leading candidate for POY as a Freshman this year. She leads the league in scoring and is second in rebounding.

Avery Warley is the player of the game with that 9 for 9 performance and 20 points and 10 boards. Broke Megan Frazee's record. Sloppy game but Devon and Avery were really on. CSU's 3s kept them in the game.

The Lady Bucs are definitely the queen of 3's (their fans even brought little yellow posters with a giant number 3 to wave every time they got a 3pointer) but possibly the queen of turnovers, they had quite of few. I haven't looked at the stats yet so I'm curious as to how many they committed.

Well it looks like both teams committed 22 turnovers. Just seems like they had more. Oh well.
