The Lady Flames travel south to take on conference co-leader and biggest conference rival (for them) High Point. The Lady Flames have defeated two of High Points non-conference opponents so far, Longwood and Navy, while the Panthers fell to the Lancers and Midshipmen earlier this season.

We're up 13-11 with 15:08 left in the half. Avery Warley off to an amazing start with 11 points on 5-6 shooting in less than 5 minutes!

We trail 41-34 at the half. HPU has lit it up from outside, and has actually outrebounded us 17-11, while we have 16 from Avery and 10 from Devon and not much else. Hopefully this game will be like our recent road games when we cought fire in the second half.

We are down at the half 41-34. Getting outrebounded and they are outshooting us. Avery Warley keeping us in the game. Need to make some adjustments at halftime.

High Point has the best live stats I've ever seen. Well laid out, nice graphics, updated steadily and never froze once. We need to get that software!

It sounds like our ladies left their defense back home in Lynchburg.

We start of the 2nd half on a 7-2 run to cut it to 43-41 at the first media timeout.

High Point leads 47-44, Brown and Warley with 16 apiece

Devon gives us the lead at 50-49 with 12:51 to play. She has been on fire in the 2nd half and now has 18.

Avery puts us up 53-51. She now has 21. I'm almost positive that is a career high.

Devon scores to make it 57-54 with 7:42. She has 22 and Avery 21.

We are rebounding much better this half. Playing with more urgency it seems. Up 59-54. Avery Warley and Devon Brown carrying much of the scoring load.

A 3 by Amber and we are now up 8 with 6 minutes left.

Up 65-54 with just over 4 minutes left

It arrived by snowmobile in the second half. Final score 75-62 as Devon scores 29 and Avery 26 (both career highs), In a very un-Cary Green-like move, they played 39 and 38 minutes respectively. Avery with 14 boards and Devon with 11.

Glad the Flames got the W. Glad to see Avery and Devon bringing it. And glad to see the team is winning without Jelena. Gotta love Lady Flames BBall!!!!!!!!!
