These gals did give North Carolina a pretty good game and I am not sure if it was just a fluke or not. I am predicting a win for us but maybe not the 30-40 point blowout kind of win.

They live and die by the 3, and they got hot against UNC.

We score the first 11 before CSU gets on the board with 2 FT. It is now 13-2 with about 15:00 to play. They come back with their first 3 of the game and Avery responds from inside. 15-5. Timeout.

17-5 now with 10:45 in the half.
Jelana out with an unspecified injury. Beecher starting, and has already missed 3 uncontested layups (per Jamie's calls).

Avery Warley is a beast underneith with 8 points. Our free throw shooting is bad so far. But CSU is only shooting 17% so we are able to maintain that big lead 23-9 now. They are jacking up 3s on every possesion.

33-20 with 2:12 to play in the half. Avery already just 1 rebound shy of a double double.

Devon Brown heating up now with that 3. Still can't shoot free throws but I like our defensive intensity.

37-24 at the half. Should be up by more; only 6-14 from the line.

Final score:
LU 65
CSU 52
Avery with 18 points and 16 rebounds. I've been waiting for her to have a monster game like this, especially on the boards.

We'll take a win even if it isn't the usual blowout.

Poor free throw shooting kept the margin down a bit. I believe we still beat them worse than UNC did.
