We won 57-51 after frittering away an early 15 point lead. rather uninspired effort IMHO against an A&T team whose leading scorer was out. Devon with 17 points and 13 boards. Antic with 14 and 4 assists and Avery had 9 points and 11 boards. We hit our average again with 23 turnovers.

Coach Green said in the post game that A&T was in the tournament last year as a #14 seed, and he expects them to return again this year, which actually makes our win even more impressive than I originally thought.

A good win for LU, no doubt. But seeds 11-16 in the women's NCAA's are much more about location and travel costs than about quality. #14 just might be better than #11, but gets a #14 seeding because the #3 seed is much closer geographically.
Kinda sad, but that's reality.
