May definitely have to go to it. JMU is one of the stronger mid-majors we've played over the past few years.

JMU beat Western Carolina 80-63 yesterday to improve to 4-0.

Up til recently, JMU was the one team who managed to hang with the ODU dynasty of the 1990s and much of this decade.

Some scoring power will be on display Tuesday night. Dawn Evans of JMU is tied for 2nd in the nation in scoring at 26.8ppg. Devon Brown is tied for 16th at 21.3.

To show how little that means though, the best player in the country, Maya Moore, is barely on the list at 50th, averaging 18.7.

Evan's ppg is gaudy, but she is only shooting 42%, compared to Devon's 58% and has almost 6 turnovers/game vs. 3.5 assists.

If you go to one Women's Basketball game all year, go tonight.

Nice drive by Mays to make it 28-16. We get a turnover and a chance to cut it to 10 at the half. Mays is hammered going to the hoop but no call.

and are only down 12. Still winnable.

33-22 early 2nd half.

36 -26 as Amber scores on the old playground play, bouncing it off opponents back on the inbounds under our basket. Rachel McLoud is sparking us in the 2nd half. Now 38-28.
