NCSA is proud to announce that 2011 grad, Catherine Kearney, from Monroeville, New Jersey has committed to DIprogram, Liberty University. Kearney is a 6′5″ Center out of Gloucester County Christian, where she averaged 19.6 points, 12.8 rebounds and 5.8 blocks as a sophomore.
We are really excited to she her finish up her high school playing days and to see her progression throughout her college career. We wish her the best!
Good choice Catherine! Congrats to Coach Green on the early verbal for a 2011 graduate. Is she able to sign this year or does she need to wait another year?

That video shows an impressive skill set, regardless of the level of competition. A 6'5" HS Soph who can put the ball on the floor, make post moves, and hit 15 foot jumpers is a very rare thing in WBB.

1. I appreciated the huge yellow and purple arrow to help indicate the kid who is clearly 18" taller than anyone else on the floor
2. impressed with the shot-making ability as well. Wonder what her shooting % is?

Thought the same thing:) She's probably still growing - could be 7' time she steps on campus... OK, maybe 6'7"

A 6'5" high school sophomore who can dribble and shoot the 15-footer? (I never saw Katie put the ball on the floor in the 4 years she played at LU). Welcome, Miss Catherine!

I don't know about "truckin' it" : to be fair, she only has to take one stride for everyone else's 2-3.
No different than me running after someone that size. Which I make a concerted effort NOT to do.
