LU and GW in final

GW just beat HPU by 2. Since it was mentioned before, I noticed after the game, RR shook the hands of all the opposing coaches and players. Should be a good one tomorrow, would hate to let this one slip away. Was hoping to play HPU for the revenge factor. G-W outscored HPU something like 10-2 to finish the game.

Not to look ahead of ourselves, but ESPN WBB Bracketology has us (13 seed) and UVA (5) both heading out to Seattle. We are a 13 seed according to ESPN. http://proxy.espn.go.com/ncw/bracketology

Good...luckily with who I'm going down with I'll have to act right...if I wasnt with them I doubt LU Baseball would have been the only sport I've been tossed from

What time is the game tomorrow? And how much does it cost?

Hmm, I guess I could theoretically go to it. HPU isn't that far from here and isn't that far out of the way to go back to school tomorrow.

So he gets to bear witness to more of Megan Frazee's "dirty" play...I hope we beat them worse than UNCA a few years ago

I hear Mr. Reeves stood near our bench the entire second half trying to pick up on play calls........
He also tried to turn us into the commish last night because one of the LCA girls came to the game with the family she lives with.......
Stay Classy Gardner Webb.

What is wrong with a LCA girl coming to the game?

Is the game on TV?

Yes, the game is on MASN. If the prices are the same as today, they are $6 and $8. The $8 ones will sit you behind the board up high which where hubby and I will probably go sit as there might be more room.

Come on Mr. LUnatic president, sir! Bring your entourage too, we need everybody out there :)

I'm very pleased we have made this nice run, just what I was hoping for. Now it will end tomorrow rather quickly IMO.

We'll have to keep the game in the fifties, maybe low sixties, to have any shot. The uglier the better. If we let you guys get in any sort of offensive rhythm, we can warm up the bus back to Boiling Springs in a hurry.

If somehow we pull a golden horseshoe out of our collective butts and beat y'all, I can't see us being nothing but a 16 seed in the tourney with a quick exit against Duke or Maryland.

Pardon my french, but I really hope Reeves doesn't act like the back end of a donkey tomorrow, in defeat or victory. Unforunately, all schools employ jerks, unforunately G-W's are more visible than others.:(

Yeah, that crossed my mind too, but I figured they would bring a closer team like the Ivy or Patriot League winner as the sacrifical lamb to UConn.

Can someone fill me in as to why RR seems to be so looked down on as of late. He was the one who left for greener pastures, if I recall, but I never heard anything negative about his attitude towards LU until this season. If a GW fans mentions something negative about his rep, there must be some truth to it; I just want some background.

I think this is the first time ever in the history of this board where we have agreed on something HMO. I never saw Rick Reeves when he coached here but judging by what Ive heard and what he apparently did yesterday let me say I hope we beat them by 50 now
