We are up 22-20 at the half. Megan is not playing. Apparently her ankle injury is worse than initially reported. Avery Warley leading the way with 6 points and 8 boards.

and we cough the ball up 27 times and lose by seven. 46-39. I saw the game online and we had a lot of sloppy passes and our post entry by our guards was quite awful!!!! This game was very painful to watch.

We seem lost when Megan isn't playing. Not a good start to the season for the ladies.

We should get better as the season progresses. Megan will be back, Moriah is not 100% yet after last year's ACL and Beca Lightfoot should be returning at some point too. In addition, we will hopefully see improvement from young players like Avery Warley, Kylie Beecher, Amber Mays and Brittany Campbell, all of whom are playing their first few games at this level, and Sophmores Rachel McLeod and Kittery Maine.

I have great feeling that this team isn't going to be fully ready til conference season. Injuries are a killer as everybody knows, basically all the games before conference play are for seeding purposes for the big dance, in which you would love to have everybody full go. Hopefully, Megan will get back soon but until then everybody is going to have to step up there play.. I like allowing less than 50 pts but it's hard to win many games with you don't score 40.

agreed. as much as we all want the OOC schedule to be successful as long as we are ready for the big south is really all that matters to me.

Last year we were healthy, and were in a position to build a resume with some good OOC wins. Then it ended up not helping our seeding much when we suffered injuries at the end of the year and they counted that against us. This year, as a fan I am only looking at our early season as preperation for conference play.
