Yea the big 3 really turned things around. If you go back to Reeve's first 4 years LU saw big improvements in the program compared to what they had before him only to have the 2 bad years. Coach Reeves is a very good coach and knows what it takes to run a successful program

Exactly HMO. He left before their senior year. Take away those 3 years and I believe he has a career losing record. I have to give him credit for having put together a good team this year.

I have to say hiring both of his daughters as assistants is a bit of an eyebrow raiser as well.

I think that our lack of depth hurt us a bit in this game. Having Jelena back will help very much with depth so we can finish these kinds of games out.

Boy do I hate GW and every time I hear RR yell on TV I'm reminded why. At least this year there is less drama then calling people cheats and not shaking hands...

no, I expect that....well at least I did after watching their talent level and he still had them on his team as players and saying one of them was a career leader in 3 pt % for our High School district when that stat was never kept....I suppose she was #1 of 1 in the books so it's not really lying...

The most disappointing part of this game is the attendence at only 833. You would think that we would have drawn at least 2,000 with GW's record and our former coach coming back. What is up with the students on wanting to show up for this game?

nail-biter just like I thought....let's hope we both hold serve and get to the tourney final.....you know the old saying about how difficult it is to beat a team three times in one season.....I'd hate to see High Point, Radford, or anyone else ruin an epic battle for the bid to the dance.

G-W hit the 3-ball to go ahead, and then our last 2 shot attempts were a KO-like drive to the basket by our point guard and a 3-ball attempt from our center. That is to say, neither Brown nor Warley--our 2 leading scorers--took a shot during our last 2 possessions.

Devon had two girls guarding her tightly on both of those possessions. I liked the Amber Mays drive with nine seconds to go. She's made that shot before and made it quite a bit. Also, we had rebounded much better than them all night so the idea was that we had a great shot to get the rebound and a put back or a foul. We just didn't execute it the best we could.

The last shot was a great play. Kylee has shown she could make that shot. Everyone knew Devon would be draped and wouldn't be able to get the shot. Once again, we just didn't execute.

Kylee's shot was dead center, too, just short. I think she was farther back than she thought she was, since she was behind the men's line. I didn't like Amber's drive, since there was little to no urgency on that possession, and we could have worked for a better look. At least get everyone out of the lane so Amber didn't get swarmed in the paint.

id say our football attendance is really good. but other than that....not so much....
