The most successful program on Liberty Mountain deserves its own forum. We give Coach Green and the Lady Flames their props while breaking down their run to the Big Dance once again.

I agree with you. Campbell reminds me of Rachel Hammond with the way she hustles but she is longer/taller. Of course no one is better than Rachel, but Brittney will be close!

No way is Brittany better! I've played with both, and I can attest that Rachel Hammond is better! No question.

These recruits seem too local to me? Seems the best got away to Richmond. Where are the Feenstra's and the Frazees?

Those are the rare breed of recruits we've been able to land. I understand we have a shot at a Feenstra-sized player in this next class.

I think it's a good thing to have local recruits, especially when 2 of them faced each other in the state championship game and were the best players on the floor.

They might be local, but they are really good at what they do no matter where they are from.

It's nice to have some local players on the squad (IF THEY ARE GOOD ENOUGH)! It makes a connection to the community, and we need that whenever we can get it. Even elite programs try to dominate recruiting in their own area first and then branch out from there.

A shot, yes, but a slim one. She's going to end up going to a bigger school...

I'm just saying. I understand we get local then branch out, but are we really back to that point again? We have already broke out and got talent from all over the country and world. This is just the first year that I haven't seen us go oversees or to a big time prospect from out of our market.

Best players on the floor? I would argue that Reddick and Tharrington (which I know we could of had) are better:( Sorry - just my opinion - I saw then play.

I just hate that we haven't seemed to bring in a big talent centers while the Frazee's were here.

Sometimes the best talent close to home, really isn't that good compared to some of the hotbeds of basketball.

I really think you are exagerating the national scope of our WBB recruiting proto. The only really big-time recruit we ever signed was Katie. Megan perhaps to a lesser extent. We have 3 local girls coming in next year along with one from Texas and a Juco transfer.

I also miss the international flavor our team used to have, but a lot of that pretty much fell in our lap, and those things tend to run in cycles.

If you like international teams, just follow tennis...New Zeland, South Africa, Russia, Czech Republic, Brazil, Chile, Peru, Poland, USA, Columbia.

I think Megan was just a big time land as Katie was...she was wanted by Ohio State and other nationally ranked programs in BCS conferences.

I think CG would love to have another 6"6' -8' girl come through! They just arent out there....at least as good as what we've seen...they are more rare than 7 footers in MBB...and we know how long it's been since we've had one of those (dont do it TBGBG)

I have no doubt he'd love that...Katie was a special one though (and her sister was no slouch either. Not a superdominant player but pretty decent) and you really arent going to get a lot of real transcendent women's basketball players >=6'5"

Yea, I'm sorry but I actually think I would know! I don't have a bias against either player and that was my honest opinion having played against both. Does that make me a hater?

No that just makes TBGBG gloriously shortsighted...
