Haize... I told you Reagan was awesome!

Parker shoved Jasmine Gardner according to Jamie. then Reynolds who pretty much carried the Panthers on her back (along with Shamia Brown)much of this game then fouled out almost immediately after

The girls have carried on well without Avery in much of the game. Its a level of depth that really you had to wonder where it was all year

After Gardner and her fell down, Parker got in her face and screamed while Gardner was down. That's when the tech was called. It was a very dumb thing for her to do, but she probably just got caught up in the moment. But was definitely a tech.

three words...BIG...SOUTH...CHAMPS!

81-73

Parker is a sophomore...looks like the youth got the best of her in the heat of the moment and you could say that cost her team the game

Liberty...9 TURNOVERS!

How about Reagan Miller. It was frustrating watching her have to work her butt off bringing the ball up the court and NEVER getting even a token screen by her teammates who walked up the court watching her. :furious

No you couldnt. It was an immature moment, to be sure. But Parker hadn't been playing well all day anyway, probably due to injury sustained yesterday. And Brown wasn't even the leader on the floor for them today; Reynolds was! If she doesn't foul out, she probably beats LU single-handedly. She was unstoppable.

Therefore, her foul-out was much more impactful than Parker's. And, it was the RIGHT call, as opposed to thoughts of commentators.

PS - color commentary on the broadcast was pretty awful.

The announcers, especially the woman announcer seemed a little biased against LU.

If this were men's BB I would agree. With no 10 second violation in the women's game, as long as the opponent is not double-teaming in the back court and you have confidence in your point guard, there is no need for screens.

Agree. And Houge is a CCU partisan.

wow 9 TO's...that alone is enough for me to celebrate. Another Big South championship...

I guess jbock won't get his wish anytime soon. Green will be here for as long as he wants to be

Exactly postie...if you want to see why Coach Green isnt going anywhere anytime soon (though I do see Purple's point about community involvement and what not), look around the Vines Center...almost the entire building is ringed with championship banners from the Women's basketball team...and Coach Green picked up his 12th conference championship today, which is I think second or third most for one sport at the school

agreed. the announcers were down right annoying and getting on my last nerves. I should have muted the volume and just watched the game.

BJ I never said Coach Green should go somewhere else. Where did I post that? I make it a point to NOT call for coaches to be fired.

JB- youve seen the Sopranos right? Same thing, just with more polyester

Reagan had a good game. Although those saying that someone else needed to help her out must have missed the times when Danica Dale and Devon brought the ball up.

Yea, and to start off the broadcast, she thought our freshman point guard would be the weak link on our team. Boy, did she prove her wrong!

Guys. I gave Coach Green credit for solving the turnover problem before the conference tournament started. And I give him credit now for making adjustments to help us comeback today after things weren't looking good early on.

He's move up a ton in my world lately. (as if it honestly really matters what I think anyway :D )

I didnt say that you called for him to be fired Purple I was simply mentioning what you had said about that being a potential issue. It is something to be worked on but if there ever was a reason for ANYONE (not necessarily you Purple or anyone on this board), it wouldnt be for lack of success

Oh, and yes, Houge is a complete twat. Carry on. :D
That's the best we can hope for IMUO

We had no significant wins this year unlike years past when we had received a higher seed. We'd be real lucky to get a 14. Coach Green said as much on post game interview. He mentioned how the BSC is not looked at very favorably by those constructing the brackets. Teams in the top 15-20 will beat us - we almost beat Kentucky a couple years ago when they were a 3 seed, I believe.

Chippy, everyone projects us as a 16. I agree. Charlie Creme of ESPN has us playing Notre Dame. Wouldn't that be ironic?

edit: College Sports Madness has us as a 15 playing Duke.
