my dad actually drives a school bus for the high school she went to.
I believe she leads the NCAA in scoring and is very athletic for a big girl.

There were actually som medical issues as well that went a long with her transfer. Let's just say she is in a much better place mentally now. She was the #1 player coming out of high school and probably the best high school women's player since Cheryl Miller.

I'm glad Pitt screwed their program up (I was raised a WVU fan) :D

I've made my point to you guys on here before, so I won't keep repeating it but it's just my thoughts for whatever it's worth. Carry on, I don't want to turn this into what I think.
Im a WVu fan too..Im glad they skrewed things up too haha... Now to greener pastures/ the big 12!

Don't get me started bout the Big 12 move. And you are not a true fan unless you have the official "Orange You Glad We Won" tee shirt!

JFJ has been at the last couple of games! It would be great if he could model the importance of attending to the whole student body like Jerry Sr. did.

UConn in the Vines?? seriously what are you smoking??
I think there was another mid-major team, I cant remember which (maybe somewhere in SC) which did this just this season. Took their whipping on the court but nearly sold-out a 5,000-seat arena. Again, can't remember which mid-major program it was, but the coach who scheduled that one may have been on to something!

:)

I know Elon opened their home slate this season against South Carolina and won, but didn't sell out their 1800 seat building either.

A good example, but not the one to which I was referring.

I think more attended the hockey game tonight than goes to the mens and womens basketball together.. At least they know how to win and the games are exciting.

hockey games are pretty exciting, but also somehow it has spread among the student body that its the thing to do. Of course 2,000 loud fans at a hockey game looks a lot better then 2,000 fans in the Vines, but still its crazy to me that a club team in which you have to pay money has a stronger following then Men's basketball

Watching hockey live is great. On the professional level I'd rather go to an NHL game then an NBA game.

Hockey is non-stop action. Any sports fan who makes the effort to learn the rules I think will enjoy it. A lot of the fans at the games are young and female. You single guys should consider taking it up.

I believe when we have a good winning team again that completes for Big South title, attendance will improve. most schools have a lot of "fair weather fans". Those who only come out when team is winning.

As someone who has had season tickets for the Washington Capitals for most of my life, the crowd for NHL games in DC is primarily made up of stunningly gorgeous single women with a combination of tons of disposable cash and knowledge of the game and players. I don't know how prevalent that is with other NHL cities, but it seems to be the case in places like DC, Dallas, and Nashville where the sport is just laying down roots.

I went to one LU hockey game last year just to see what is was like, since I had never been to a hockey game in my life. I watched a few minutes of it. I could never find the puck, it was not very exciting, thus I left the building after only a few minutes.
