LU's young guards with suspect ball-handling vs. pressure = HPU hard hedging and trapping --> too many LU turnovers --> transition offense for HPU.

BUT, Liberty just has to keep it close and survive the half until Warley can get back on the floor for the second.

For all those decrying the placement of a league championship game on a member institution's campus, especially HPU's gym, the atmosphere there looks great today. THAT is why it works.

I wouldn't think our frontline is a question mark. Any Big South team would love to have Kearney and Omatolu on their team!

The good news is that Avery should have fresh legs for the 2nd half. HPU had two crazy runs including the first from Shamia Brown & the second by Erin Reynolds. Despite those two scoring at will while often throwing up prayers, we're only down by 5.

I really like our chances in the 2nd half if the crowd doesn't overly influence these refs.

Ha. Lawson is a great official. I'm not saying Mark is bad but if I'm on the sideline ( or on the crew) I'd take Lawson everyday and twice on Arbor Day.

Every call on Warley has been spot-on. The scouting report on her is that she will commit at least 2 unnecessary fouls per game.

Liberty has done good job of attacking rim and getting paint touches on its last 4 possessions. That, combined with foul-outs by Parker and Reynolds, has created current margin.
