Apparently they added 4-5 seconds on the clock which Jamie doesn't think should have happened.

What does shot clock violation mean?

It's a turnover. There is a shot clock which gives the offensive team 30 seconds to hit the rim. If they fail to do so, the ball is given to the defense.
