Megan gets the nod again.
Big South Announces Women's Basketball Players of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Liberty’s Megan Frazee has been named the Big South Conference Choice Hotels Player of the Week in women’s basketball, while Marisah Henderson from Birmingham-Southern was tabbed New Balance Freshman of the Week for games played Dec. 4-10, the League announced today.

Frazee, a sophomore from Xenia, Ohio, put in 21.0 points per game on the week, including 28 points at No. 19 George Washington on Dec. 20. Frazee got her week started with 14 points and 12 rebounds against Virginia Tech on Dec. 5. Against the Colonials, the forward connected on 13-of-20 from the floor for 65 percent and drained two three-pointers to go along with 10 boards in the outing. She finished the week shooting 51 percent from the field on 20-of-39 shots, while posting 22 rebounds, four assists and two blocks in the two-game span. The honor marks her third Player of the Week nod this season.

Henderson, a guard from Kansas City, Kan., put in six points and posted nine rebounds and nine assists to lead the Panthers to an 85-47 win over Spring Hill on Dec. 10. The nine boards and assists were both career-highs as she earned her second Freshman of the Week accolade this season.

Also nominated for women’s basketball Player of the Week for Week 5: Mallory Morring (Birmingham-Southern), Candyce Sellars (High Point), Serena White (Radford), Amanda Elder (UNC Asheville) and Ashley Fann (Winthrop).

Also nominated for women’s basketball Freshman of the Week for Week 5: Rachel Williams (UNC Asheville) and Kathi Ryska (Winthrop).
