That technical was a by-the-book call. Piotrkiewicz continued to fight for the ball after the whistle had sounded. That's automatic.

I disagree...not a tightly called game...rare call with less than a minute left....but whatever...congrats to Megan.

There could have been informal warnings issued prior to the players. Refs communicate with players early on to try & avoid things. The ref could have just been following through on a promise.

This really isn't about the WNBA, but I didn't see the need to start a new thread. Megan was just named MVP of the Turkish WBB league all-star game. She had 16 points and 9 rebounds.

Several current and former WNBA players were represented. The article also mentions that she is averaging over 18 ppg on the season, which is good for 6th in the league.
