First off, I'd like to thank Allyson, Courtney and Egle for a great 4 years...including that Sweet 16 run their freshman year, and congrats on their accomplishments. Secondly, thanks to all the players on the team who worked so hard this year...its just too bad that it came down to injuries depleting our depth. However, it was a great season and we have nothing to be ashamed of...lets get em' next year.

With the recruits that we have coming in next season and with the 3 Frazees coming back the prospects of getting back to the tournament and winning are very good. Rachael McCleod will be great next season. Hopefully we will get the seeding that we deserve if we can beat some quality non-conference opponents next year. I am very proud of our team after what we went through with the injuries and hats off to Courtney, Allison, and Egle for 4 great seasons.

A 20 point loss to a strong ODU team on their home court with two injured starters sitting the bench...not too bad in my opinion. Thank you Seniors for an outstanding year 28-4. I'll take that every time. Congrats to Coach Green and his entire staff. Job well done, Grandpa. All I can say is watch out next year...the LADY FLAMES ARE BACK and BETTER THAN EVER.

Just hated that the camera crew kept zooming in to our seniors on the bench with tears in their eyes. Losing in your last game of your career has to hurt; especially when you hoped to advance to a game against UVa. Still, congratulations to the whole team, to Coach Green, and to all his assistants and support staff for a wonderful season.

I gotta say that this was probably the second most fun season to watch in all my years at LU (the first of course being the sweet 16 run in 05). Thanks for a great 4 years Allyson, Courtney and Egle...I enjoyed meeting and getting to know each one of you.

Anyone apologizing for anything regarding this season should save their breath. I for one am very proud of this team and all it accomplished despite the obstacles.

Thankfully we still have more Frazee time left on our clock.

I didn't get on last night to post after getting back so late. Hats off to the girls and the coaches. They played their hearts out last night, and left everything on the floor. From the time it was our lead at 19-14 through the end of the first half is when ODU won the game. They went on a 30-11 run to end the first half. Outside of those few minutes, we played right with ODU and maybe even better. Megan was the best player on the court, hands down. Their bigs could not guard the Frazee's, they were just too quick. It's too bad we had to play them on their home court; if we were to play them tomorrow in the Vines, we would win.

I hated seeing Moriah and Rebecca on the sidelines knowing they wanted to be out there, and may have been enough for us to get the W. Anyone hear anything on Courtney's status? Looked like she hurt her collar bone.

Thank you to the seniors, you girls had a great 4 years here and should hold your heads high.

McLeod is going to be a great scoring PG for the next 3 years. She stepped in last night and played like she had been on that big stage her whole life. With her at the point, Hammond at the 2, the 3 Frazees, and our freshman we should be even better next year. If we are healthy for the NCAA tourney next year, I'm predicting a win.

Great season.

i really like that ODU team and i think they are better than Xavier. I think they are loaded at every position. I really like their speed and quickness and i think they will beat UVA on Tuesday. But it should be a closer game but ODU's bench is deeper than UVA's bench. LU not having their normal rotation really hurt us and we were thin and ODU took advantage of that. Hats off to LU for a great season.

Good post Manson. Great seeing you at the game too of course. I would say that #11 for ODU was the best player on the floor last night though. We had no one that could physically stay with her. ODU is a good team. They should go to at least the sweet 16. It was tough seeing 2 starters in street clothes but I have to give a ton of credit to the team for fighting to the bitter end. Our ladies should be proud of their season. I am proud of them. I am really glad LaLa got to play and play well at the end of the season. Injuries throughout her career took away from her effectiveness for many years but she went out like a champion. We will also miss Ally and Courtney. Courtney was injured in the game and I really hope she is ok. She was in quite a bit of pain from where we were sitting. It was a really fun year and Coach Green and his staff did a fantastic job. Thanks Guys.

Every NCAA team in america but 3 end their season with a loss. And it's bittersweet for 2 of them. Nothing to be ashamed of there.

There actually are a few teams like Longwood and Presby that could end their year with a win but I get your point.

In fact, I won my last college game of my career and I certainly didn't play on a national championship team.

let me ammend it by saying every team but 1 ends the season as a loser.

Thank you Coach Green, staff and team. the injuries injured the awesome run you were on, however you still added another couple banners to the Vines Center. Like what CBS says of the Master's golf tournament "the tradition continues".
