The most successful program on Liberty Mountain deserves its own forum. We give Coach Green and the Lady Flames their props while breaking down their run to the Big Dance once again.

We could get an at large bid if we happen to loose in the BSC tourny but very unlikely that we will. Our ranking right now would take a serious nose dive if we were to loose to a BSC team which would in turn hurt our seeding in the tourney.

Worst case scenario is the WNIT. Once we wrap up the regular season title hopefully against Winthrop tomorrow evening we are assured of playing in the WNIT if we were to lose (GOD FORBID) in the Big South Tournament. The WNIT takes the regular season champions who may lose in their perspective conference tournament and not get an at large bid in the NCAA tournament.

I'm not sure that we will...Hartford dominated the America East last year but lost in its conference tournament and did not receive one. A mid-major that dominates the conference but loses in its conference tournament is not a high-percentage play to get into the NCAA. If for some reason we had to go to the WNIT, I feel confident we could actually win it.

I would highly doubt that. You have to realize who would be in there: teams ALOT better than Va Tech.

Va Tech, for whatever reason, just has our number in women's bball. We hung close to Carolina instead of being blown out 80-something to 40-something like most years. I'm not saying we're better than Carolina or even on the same level as they are, but currently it seems our women's team can compete with just about anybody outside of Tennessee/Duke/UConn/LSU/UNC/Stanford.

Yes Va Tech has our number, but let's hope it doesn't come to that.

We actually jumped up to 26th in the realtime rpi rankings. Anyone know what's the highest we've ever finished the year? This has got to be the best EVER.

Somehow, we are still at 27 in RPI after our loss.
