8-10 seed means that you play the 1 or 2 seed if you win your first round game. i think it would be an accomplishment if we win out and get such a high seed.

No doubt, but I like having a chance at a sweet sixteen bid. An 8-10 seed pretty much guarantees that it won't happen.

It is riskier in the first round to be an 11-12 seed, but if you win the first round game, you actually have a chance at the sweet sixteen. Either way I'll be happy, but I would prefer a 12 seed.

good points belcher. having that lower seed like a 11-12 gives us a chance to get past the second round and end up playing the #1 seed in the third round.

this week according to http://www.collegerpi.com/women we are projected as a 9 seed going against UGA the 8 seed with a possible rematch against UNC in the New Orleans Regional side of the bracket.

This week they have us as a 10 seed facing the Iowa Hawkeyes, with 2 seed Maryland waiting in the wings.

I have no problem with getting those seeds. What worries me is that if we were to get bumped off in the BSC tourney, that loss might be just enough to keep us from an at large (but I don't think so).
