Yes BJ is right, when Courtney is hitting treys with the to Frazee's underneath it makes for ahard tom defend inside/outside setup. I was please the wat our defense closed the lane & backdoor in the 2nd half against JMU - Tech also used the backdoor a lot early on & that hurt us. It's even better that UNC'S!!! But UNC typically has an rpi on the low side since they play an easy schedule than many schools at their level.

nice win by the ladies over a quality team. i enjoyed the radio broadcast with nick pierce although he gave himself a shoutout and quickly retracted it. his "frazee crazy" comment was funny too as he got confused on which frazee was scoring at one point.

I listened to most of the game on the radio as well...you could never guess that nick has rarely, if ever, done a basketball broadcast....he is so good it makes me sick sometimes (ok, not really)

with that said great win!! I saw the last 8 minutes of the game and was impressed with what I saw...there could very well be something special brewing this season

The RPI is a funny thing. We are #21. We beat JMU, but they are still #10, even though they haven't beaten anyone (including GW) in the top 20. VT beat us, has 2 quality wins to our 1, and their only loss is to #16 USC, but they are #27. Go figgur.

OK, they just updated the rankings. We are 23rd and JMU dropped to 21st. VT is 28th, and interestingly, UNC is only 38th (although they are 4/5 in the polls.)

Hey, we all know that even if we run the slate our RPI will plummet when we get into the BSC part of our schedule, but I still thing it's kindof cool to see LU up there with the big schools.

If JMU, Xavier, and UNC maintain the level of their potential they have shown early on, the RPI will be higher than in recent years when LU reaches the BSC part of the schedule. Remember, in past years, its been hard to point to a true "signature" win before the conference schedule. Xavier and JMU could still both turn into even better iwns than they appear right now. (I believe they will after seeing a lot of tape of both teams.)
