Who do you think will be a surprise player this year and why?

For me I think it will be Jesse Sanders. He's a smart kid, good rebounder, and should be able to run the point well for us.

That could include a ton of names with so many new faces.

I have a feeling that Jeremy is going to show us a bunch now that he is being utilized beyond his sharpshooting specialty. Just a hunch with no evidence to back it up.

Of course I'd love to see Jesse step in and and amaze us right from the get go at the point.

Tyler Baker wouldn't be a surprise. He is already a star!

Everyone is expecting Seth Curry and Brolin Floyd to be really good and I think they will... but I think Bill Weaver will surprise some people this year. All I have to go on personally are videos of him in high school. But I have heard others say that he can fly and he will be really good for us next year.

I hope all of our new players will impress us though!

Seriously, that was funny like 2 years ago; now it's just old and annoying.

Anthony Smith.

Yes, I know we expect him to be good, but I think he'll take the leap this year. I think things have clicked in his head and he's going to turn the corner big time. If he's not Preseason POY something is wrong.

Im gonna go the exact opposite of you on this player, i see a regression in his game based on the players that will be around him as well as what position he may be playing when he steps on the floor.

Im actually gonna go with Tyler Baker.....because whether he is good or bad, it will be a suprise because we haven't seen him play in quite a long time.

I don't get your point at all manson. Are you suggesting that Smitty's PT will go down because we have a couple more athletic swing players? Not gunna happen. It's true that we don't have Alex in the post to draw the defense, but he didn't pass much, so we didn't really have much of an inside-out game anyway. I'm not as sure as SJ that his game is going to elevate that much, but I don't see him regressing. Why would you think that from a player who has improved every year up to now? Makes no sense to me.

I don't want to speak on his behalf, but he is under the impression that Smith's game will be a different role this year.
