why did you move the post on alex to missing persons?

by LUconn
because he doesn't play for LU anymore? I don't know. Moving stuff is kind of an arbitrary decision for a mod.

I'd rather it be here because most people don't check that far down on the board.

If it was someone from 5-10 years ago, I'd understand. I like recently graduated players here though. That's just me.

I didn't do it. But you can see the moved link right there. Dwight's is still there if it makes you feel better.

I can't move everything off of my Blackberry. Over the past few years we have tried to keep the LU sports boards focused primarily on current athletes to avoid clutter. But if everybody is wanting me to keep the info on the old guys on here it is certainly open for discussion.

I can live with that. So here is the new policy for the football and mens hoops boards ... we'll post the info on these boards on former players until the first season begins after their departure. After that they either head to Non-LU Sports, Old Folks Home or the Missing Persons Bureau.

The policy doesn't necessarily apply to the other sports (i.e. baseball, womens hoops, track) since they don't have as many topics working as to be a problem.

Does that work for everybody?

That works, but personally I don't think they should go to Non-LU sports.

it was just wierd that i read about Brewington and thought i would give you an update on Alex and you move it. Like you didn't give a crap about certain players and other players you are interested in. He only gradutated 2 months ago not 2years ago. Quite the accomplishment to get a contract making $$$ overseas and graduating from
little ole LU.

This board isn't about who can spell the best...i mean GMTM just got a nice job and we know he can't spell....its about information and i think you can understand mine, and avoid the crazy thought that you consider yourself a realist.

I think as long as a player is still actively playing beyond college (and I am not talking at Schilling on Thursday nights), I would like to see it on this portion of the board f.w.i.w. I mean how many guys we talking...6 at the most????

Besides Brew and Alex, who is still playing for a paycheck??? Is there more than 5???

I know LB is playing in Hungary and Leo Lightbourne is playing in Turkey.
