Based on the photo I saw of his induction into the Big South HOF, I think it's safe to say Peter is no longer playing. I'd conservatively estimate he's going about 330.

I believe Julius retired as a player last year after a 15 year globehopping career. Reports are he is coaching the Nigerian junior national team. I believe he is based in Houston when in the states.

Mike Coleman also has made a living playing all over the globe, and I think he still is, although he must be pushing 40 now.

No way bigjb! HS JV was as far as I got in my basketball career. I'm an alum, and have followed Liberty basketball as a fan since 1974. There are other flamefans posters like SCAR who have direct connections to the program and have maintained contact with former players. Hopefully they will be able to give some more specific info.

I'm starting my training early for the Alumni game and I will be ready this year  FYI Juice is still ballin. He won his 11th championship a couple of weeks ago. He is a hired gun so to speak and goes around the world helping teams win championships. He is still an amazing player after all of these years. I haven't heard from Coleman in years but I hear he played many years over seas. Aluma is not exactly in playing shape and has had knee problems for several years now.

Was Julius still playing in the Dominican Republic SCAR? That was the last place I heard. We always think of the DR in terms of baseball, but basketball is gaining popularity rapidly with young Dominicans. I would compare the pro league there to high level NAIA overall, with 1 or 2 American "ringers" on each team who played D1 in the states. They also have corporate sponsered AAU-style youth teams. I went to a double-header of one of those leagues last year in a little town called Consuelo, near San Pedro de Macoris. Not much defense played to say the least and not a lot of skill on offense, but I saw a 6'8 16 year old who had some real athleticism.

hmmm, i feel like i've heard this before...

possibly last year?
Last year I was just kidding....I am working out daily now and we have a brand new gym that is quite possibly the nicest building I have ever been in period. I can't believe they built it. American Family on the West End Short Pump Richmond. It is worth a drive to Richmond from the Burg to see it! Really though even before the new gym opened I have been pretty serious about getting in shape and it is more of a health/life thing than anything hoops related. People in my age bracket need to start thinking about health and life span. Ok, I am going to play some Madden (how old am I? ).

Jim is so right about that. I was already there though lol. But I think everyone with a membership was there this weekend. Honestly it was so big but it never looks full. They must have 200 cardio machines in there. Most have an HD screen with satellite TV. The locker rooms have leather benches and HD TV's on all the walls. The pool is Olympic size and sort of a waterfall plus a hot tub that is the size of a small pool. Every weight machine ever invented is in there and there is close to a full size track around the top. I think 5 or laps equals 1 mile and a real track it is 4 laps so you can see how big it is. There is a 30 yard football field in there for sprinting and explosion exercises plus a full sized basketball court. And HMO they have 4 raquetball courts! It is unbelieveable! I need to get my boy Aluma in there with me. Move back east big fella!

Google is my friend. The championship Julius just won was with a team from Santiago in the DR, which also featured former St. John's star Felipe Lopez. He obviously can still get it done, as he had 15 points and 16 boards in game 4 of the series.

He is apparently doing double duty (or more) with different leagues having different seasons. Also listed as playing for a team in Iran!

I know. I can't keep up with where he is half the time. I will be glad when he retires so I can actually catch up with him in Texas or Virginia. We still have facebook though :D
