The stairs in the Vines Center are currently receiving a fresh coat of grey paint to them.

I really like the script and the red area along the baseline. That's snazzy. Looks like we got the newly updated italic BS logo. Thanks for changing that right after our last paint job. Has the lane always been red?

I like the blue lane a lot better. I'm sure this will grow on me though.

the red in the lane seems a bit bright and a little overwhelming to me, but other than that the floor looks good. I liked the blue lane better though.

it's true, red is really hard to get "right". When it's on TV is comes accross as too bright, sometimes if it's next to the wrong color it looks orange. It's a tough color to have to use.

Too bad they couldn't have painted the girls' 3-point line PINK (I'm kidding).

Remember in when I said I couldn't post a screenshot of my desktop....??? Well, this was one of the reasons why. Updating the Vines floor has been a long process. I think, in the end, there were 17 different versions...some with certain options on one end & different options on the other ( to keep from having a billion different files). I assure you they had TV in mind when it came to the update.

I think the blue lane with that red block under the baskets would've looked great. Not a huge fan of the red lane.

Or even keep the lane red and make the border navy blue. Some type of contrast. That's just too much.

Whats really interesting to me, is each time something small like this is changed, no matter the sport its usually mostly positive reaction or at the very least a 50-50 split. I don't think you are going to see the same reaction with this change.

Although I don't completely like it, I still think it's better than it was last year.

Disagree. I wasn't a fan of the navy on red. This is much cleaner.

I think it would look better if the blue border around the court was simply hardwood, and not painted.

not a fan of that...as an official, it could be harder to see a close out-of-bounds play that is happening down court.

I just think the court is too "busy"

and that BSU one doesn't include the purple Taco Bell logo that's usually there. I think that school creates eyesores on purpose.

I liked the old floor a lot, but you know what, I think I really like this. I like the logo not in the paint and on the sideline more. Now the paint is more like a Run-way for Smitty to take off on
