He's a Junior in HS. Just natural maturing will have him 10-15 pounds heavier by the time he arrives on a college campus.

We're only going to have 1 to at most 3 schollys available for next year's class. We have 6 freshman for this year, we just need to plug in what we need around them. A legitimate big man is one.

I seriously doubt this kid is at the top of our list for 09 considering we may have only 1 scholarship.

Scout seems high on this kid based on a 3-star rating. Granted I realize that those are highly subjective. But I wouldn't dismiss this kid out of hand. Coach McKay is from Indiana and still has strong ties up there.

Scout is normally pretty accurate when it comes to rating recruits. If this kid can beef up a bit and get around 230, we might have a player.

I know these things aren't always updated, but it still says we have yet to offer. Maybe we have offered already. Who knows?
I hope we do offer, because he seems to be what we need down low in a big man.

I was just trying to suggest that due to Mckay's love for guards and big men who can shoot, he may not offer this guy a scholly.
I was being facetious.
I think McKay will offer him one if he hasn't already, you don't wanna pass on a three star big man.
