Thoughts?

I voted for Tyler, but of course that is contingent on his health. I think he has a lot of potential as a rebounder. If Anthony leads us in this category, I think we are hurting. Not that he can't rebound, but we need our bigs to carry the load on the boards.

I voted for Sammy (big shock I would pick one of the Texans) just on a hunch. But I would prefer to think that one of the the freshman steps up only with Tyler. You can be an effective rebounder in the Big South without great height, but I hate to think that Sammy will be limited to working the boards.

I voted for Sam too. He's got more experience and should be able to step in to this level without much of a learning curve.

I am not joking when I say that BJ Jenkins will be our leading rebounder next year. For this reason, I did not vote in this poll.

it's not a bad theory. Long shots = long rebounds, as they say.

And BJ is a good rebounder with good IQ on the floor. He knows where to be to get the ball, and he's tough. Not to mention he can hop thru the roof.

I almost added him to the poll, but didn't. My rationale was that he is a good rebounder, but I don't see him LEADING us in rebounding.

I thought the same.

Austin Smith looks like a rebounding machine, and Carter & Tyler (if healthy) will be spending more time behind the 3 point arc instead of getting rebounds, while Austin will be banging down in the paint.

Austin will be banging in the paint, if he's able to get Sammy off the court

Only one of us got this one right. Anthony led the team with 6.4 per game...second place...Jesse Sanders at 5.5 per game.

For some reason, he asked and/or we released him from a verbal agreement.
