you have to think our attendance will be up next year, but i also hope seth does not feel any pressure when he gets to LU.

Other Curry close by
Liberty landed the Davidson star's younger brother
.

Doug Doughty-The Roanoke Times

Dell Curry might have thought college recruiters had learned their lesson when they largely overlooked his older son, Stephen, whose long-range shooting helped turn Davidson into the feel-good story of the NCAA men's basketball tournament.

But, wait. There could be a sequel coming to a basketball arena near you.

His sons not only have his name. They have his aim.
Nice line.

Oh, in case I have failed to do so already ... Thanks, Greenberg!

I wonder why Radford wasn't on him. Do you think the lesser of the Greenbergs will never compete for a recruit with the other?

McKay said. "It's like I told his dad before we ever got him, 'With the Curry name, I'm surprised there's not a line to get into your door.'.........

"You think, 'son of an NBA player, kind of soft, skinny.' But, when he puts his shorts on and the ref throws up the ball, he turns into Superman."

And, as the NCAA tournament showed, Clark Kent doesn't stay in a phone booth forever.

"Seeing my brother has made me even more confident in my decision," Seth said. "I know I can play in a smaller conference and still do big things on a national stage."

Good stuff. Can't wait for the Seth era to begin.

First he had Batman: Blair & JB
Then we had Robin: Dees & DR

Now we have...
McKay on Seth Curry: "when he puts his shorts on and the ref throws up the ball, he turns into Superman."

"His brother had a great experience at a mid-major, which made it OK for Seth to choose Liberty," McKay said. "It's like I told his dad before we ever got him, 'With the Curry name, I'm surprised there's not a line to get into your door.'

"Let me say this about Seth Greenberg: He knows what he's doing. Roy Williams and those guys who have ascended to that level know what they're doing, but recruiting is not a science. Stephen didn't pass the eye test. Neither did Seth.

"You think, 'son of an NBA player, kind of soft, skinny.' But, when he puts his shorts on and the ref throws up the ball, he turns into Superman."

And, as the NCAA tournament showed, Clark Kent doesn't stay in a phone booth forever.

Rocketfan and I are arguing. Is McKay calling Stephen or is he calling Seth, Superman in that statement?

I think he's referring to Stephen. I think this writer needs to go back to Radford for a couple more years to learn how to properly construct paragraphs.

This is the paragraph before the quote about superman:
"Let me say this about Seth Greenberg: He knows what he's doing. Roy Williams and those guys who have ascended to that level know what they're doing, but recruiting is not a science. Stephen didn't pass the eye test. Neither did Seth.
That's McKay speaking there, he was talking about Seth, and it led into the next paragraph, still talking about Seth.

After rereading that a few times, I don't think there's any possible way to know who he was talking about.
