Tuesday night @7 on MASN. We need to win our last two games to guarantee us a first round home date, and I'm willing to bet if we do we will finish 3rd and not have to play Winthrop until the championship round.

Yeah, these are big ones all right. Go Flames. Home is big, and momentum would be gained going into the BS.

Erratic LU defense faces hot Keydets

Friday night was all about messages, Liberty coach Ritchie McKay said.
He was unhappy at how his team defended at Charleston Southern earlier in the week, so at Longwood, he put guys like James Spencer, Tim Layer and Russell Monroe on the floor in the first half.
The message: Those players were defending in practice, so they get the playing time.

Always enjoy reading Chris' articles.... Longwood means nothing right now... The only essential games are the BS ones,
but this one might be essential in terms of getting home court, which can be essential in the BS.
(I think I just flunked freshman comp)
Go Flames!

Well since our bench basicaly started against Longwood, all the starters should be fresh.....they are gonna need to be to run with these guys. Gonna be a tough game tonight.

WHO was defending well in practice?
TIM LAYER!
Cmon guys, hate all you want, but Tim is a solid player. And yes, I am being serious. I think he should be logging 10 a game.

Wanted to stop by and wish you the best--hope both teams play well, cleanly, and injury-free tonight.
And it's nice to see MASN show one from the Vines Center--one of the crown jewel facilities of the Conference.
Good luck!

Yeah it is "the" crown jewel facility of the conference.
Also, this is like the 5th Liberty home game on MASN this year.

Good for you.
Not sure which is "the" crown jewel, but we're pretty proud of Cameron Hall and didn't get any MASN broadcasts.

Hi PA--thanks.
I have this bad habit of showing up at the wrong times over here.
Anyway, I hope our team that smoked UNC-A shows up tonight--oh, wait...

Hope not--we haven't fared so well in the close ones lately.

Only two Keydet posts on the VMI message board about the game tonight. Not much action over there.

I bet the Longwood loss is gonna kill our attendance tonight. Maybe some Keydets will show up.

I dont know, information about our bball team doesnt go around a whole lot. Last night I had to explain to somebody how we are DI and why we are on the same NCAA March Madness game as UNC and Duke

It's sad, really. "Why is Liberty on there? Is that the Vines Center?"
