Does anyone else think it's important

.......... to finish the season with a winning record? Of course, in the BSC it's all about the tournament, but I personally think it would be a sweet accomplishment for this team to finish the year with more wins than losses, and we can clinch it by winning these last 2 home games.

If you are thinking this is no big deal, ponder this. Our last championship team in 03-04 finished the regular season at 15-14, and after sweeping 3 in the BSC tourney and losing to St. Joes in the NCAA, ended with a record of 18-15.......... a winning record. How many other teams have accomplished this since the end of the Meyer era in 1996????

NONE!!!!!!

It would be huge. I already stated this in another thread somewhere, and it would be a remarkable feat!

It makes sense that a winning team wins games, and yes it would be nice, but I believe that the big deal is to get as many games on the home court as possible. Home court guarantees nothing either, but the crowd and the court obviously give you an edge.

Bottom line on the question: "desireable to have happen, but not defeatable if it doesn't."
