Looks like the Vines is awakenig again. Good to see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like we played a great game and the crowd was good too. I think with the two great home wins we are well on our way to having some big, enthusiastic crowds at future home games. I think we will beat either Asheville or Winthrop at home. Maybe both. We're going to have good home court advantage by then.

Man. What a great night to be in the Vines! Everything was on tonight. Everything. If this can be kept up for the rest of the season, basketball has a bright future at home. The students were great and the team responded. I think when they came out of the tunnel to see all of those red shirts, it started the night off right for them and they never looked back. The team was impressive. Everyone seemed to know their role and executed it well.

I'll stop with the praise for now. I won't be missing any more games this season if I can help it, though. That's for sure.

That was the most fun Ive had in a long time...Im definitely gonna have to be in the student section more often. Seeing thousands and thousands of students basically out of their minds , that is something that we havent had in Vines for a while! I couldnt tell but to any of the other guys that were there, did we get in their heads like we did the against CSU?

Maybe someone has mentioned this already...but is Tyler Baker sitting out the rest of the season?

Official attendance was over 4000. The place was so packed that some of the students had to sit on the Baptist side. And our usher even encouraged some of us old timers to sit in the padded seats.

Loved big Russ' dunk at the end of the game: the crowd erupted when he threw it down.

TeeJay's 15 assists tied the LU record set by Hildo, according to Jerry Edwards on the post-game show.

yeah, we didn't really want sparky to get up but he jumped up pretty quick. it was funny though

Guess I know where I'll be Saturday night. A 9 PM TV game should really get the students pumped.

what a great game! the guys played really well. just a solid defensive effort and the bench effort was strong with ohman and anderson. the atmospehere was great and the students were awesome. to see coach mckay give the students a hand and to mention them in his post-game comments was great and you could tell the players appreciated it as well. saturday night should be even better. i think the students have been sold on what this team has to offer, and a lot of that has to do with the LUnatics. greta job in leading them SJ.
