I just thought of this last night:

Not a single player on our current roster has won a game in the conference tournament.

Its true, we have not won a conference game since we won the tourney in 2004, and the last person to graduate from that team was Larry Blair last year.

Well, we will go from 0 to 3 this year.

what are you putting in your kool-aid?

Think it's a fair point, but it will soon change.

Well, I know that it's not as big a media spectacle as the Big South tournament, but TeeJay Bannister went 3-3 in the ACC tourney as a member of the Virginia Cavaliers.

And I'm probably wrong on this one, but I thought that Russell Monroe redshirted in '04?

Russ did not redshirt. In fact, he started his first game as a freshman, and actually made like the first 10 shots he took in his first few games. RD said many times he was going to be an "impact player". Unfortunatly, it seems he peaked a bit early.

I knew TeeJay had won some games in the ACC tourney, but I was just talking about the Big South.

and without LB most of the guys on our roster would have a BS tourny win

I love messing with him

And without LB, LU would have never won the championship in 2004 and Dunton would have been axed 2 years earlier than he was.

Without LB, Dees would have still been here and we would have been much better off with a better chance to win every year... and without LB we would have got a better shot off against VMI next year or would have been ranked higher in the BS without him missing 30 shots a game.

Actually it was RD's doing as to why Dees left, not LB.

Ask Dees... It was Dees or LB... and LB couldnt go anywhere else except Maybe Radford. :D

But apparently Dees could go to powerhouse UL-Lafayette, where he has the same nike uniform as us

Now that's funny. Dees didn't play defense.

And he shoots 40% from the floor, Larry at least hit 44 his last year

UL-Lafayette Would more than likely take care of us... and since JCM is being such a Liberty hater today, I think we might agree on this :koolaid

I was the biggest Dees fan there was, when he was here. But he left, LB stayed. So, I'm an LB homer. I liked them both, it would have been great if they both stayed, no doubt we would have won another conference title.
