No ones replied in this thread yet so I don't mind being the first.
Hopefully this kid can give us minutes in during Conference play. He looks like a solid player and I'd love to see him for 8-12 per game before the seasons over. That would be a perfect scenario as Mclean might be a little slowed with the knee and since we're so thin in the post to begin with ( Rell literally ). Here's to hoping Campbell will be a solid contributer this season.

This kid may not be the best in the world, but I love watching him play. He works hard and plays with a high intensity.
I don't think you'll get 8-12 out of him this year. If we could get 3-4 minutes out of him and 3-4 minutes out of Russ so that Alex only plays 32 minutes or so we'll be in good shape.

Lynchburg College will look to senior Nate Campbell to set the tone tonight when the Hornets make the short trip to Randolph College in a key men’s basketball game that will figure heavily into the final ODAC standings and seeding for the fast-approaching tournament...
... Campbell later committed to Liberty University and played in 14 games a freshman. But he was thrown for a loss shortly after that first season.
"There was a coaching change and I lost my scholarship," Campbell said. "It was tough. After I lost my scholarship I was like ‘I’m done with basketball. You work so hard and this is how you are rewarded? What’s the point?’ So I took a year off.
"Then I realized I missed it. I just missed being out there. I missed being on the court. Coach Scott was a family friend and after that I told him wanted to come play for him and he said ‘Let’s get that ball rolling.’"

Coach Scott says he isn't doing as good this year statistically because of depth? They don't have any depth at his position. He could average 20 a game if he wanted, he just doesn't have the dog in him for it this year.
