I knew probably 3 or 4 guys in my dorm that were from Charlotte Christian. So the school itself has somewhat of a history of sending kids here.

Two years ago, when Charlotte Christian basketball star Willis Hall tried out for the football team, football coach Jason Estep took one look at him and made a bold prediction.
Even then, Hall had a mature body. Today, he's a junior, 6-foot-6 and 210 pounds, but is thickly built and appears much heavier.
"I told him back then," Estep said, "that `I'll be shocked if you don't have a decision to make your senior year as to which sport you play in college.' "
National basketball recruiting analyst Bob Gibbons says Hall, whose basketball team will play Charlotte Latin at home tonight in a game to determine first place in the CISAA, is potentially a top-five N.C. player in the class of 2009.

The most notable CC grad that attended LU was probably PF Jody Chapman, a big guy who could knock down three's.
Also, former CC head coach, former tarheel, and former NBA star Bobby Jones was rumored to succeed Dunton/Meyer prior Hank getting hired. I believed the rumor, until I ran into Jones at a church event and he confirmed that it was only a rumor.
