We've played pretty well so far except for our game against Campbell. Alot of us are pleased with the intensity and focus of the players. Also, the guys seem to be having a lot of fun out there. It should be a fun ride the rest of the way.

Coach McKay has signed 6 players (5 fresh, 1 JUCO) for next year and it seems like it's a good class.

Thanks for stopping by and Merry Christmas.

In fact, McKay said it was the best class he had ever signed in all his years of coaching. From what I have seen, he strikes me as a very intelligent & experienced coach: we are fortunate to have him.

CJ, let's not get his quote out of context. His quote was that this was the best FIRST recruiting class he's ever had at a school. Not necessarily best overall.

Manson, can you dig up that quote? I'd really like to read it directly, rather than you and I trying to paraphrase it. :fineprint

Congrats to the Lobos on breaking thru on the bowl front.

We're thrilled with what Coach McKay has brought thus far. I'm excited to see how the guys fare in the Big South.

“I can’t remember ever having a class like the one we were able to attract our first year at Liberty,” said McKay..."Typically it takes a little bit of time to establish yourself in an unfamiliar region of the country,” added McKay. “What Liberty University offers a student-athlete is really reflected in the caliber of the individual and the caliber of the player we were able to sign.”

It seems to me RM has been a breath of fresh air to the program, what that means in terms of w's and l's is yet to be determined.

I entered this season very reluctant by reading articles (from those with a axe to grind but I was unaware) and being friends with our previous coach...it took one practice and I got on here first thing and posted that I'm a believer....I love the approach he takes to the game, he focuses on the mental aspect rather than just go out there and let your athleticism win a few ball games and that's great to see b/c I think the mental aspect in sports in general is not focused on enough

I love this guy and I love his style...I'll be a fan and follower from here on out....great things are to come with RM

I've seen three of the games. The thing that I have liked most so far was at Va Tech when we struggled against the 1-3-1 RM called a timeout, after that we got some decent shots the rest of the first half and in the second half when VT went to that defense. The team seemed to adjust well which speaks well for the team and the coach.
