The men’s program has increased its season ticket sales by 80 percent, compared to last season. The increase from the 2005-06 season is a staggering 585 percent.

Percentages are always fun. It's much better than saying in 2005 only 50 people had season tickets and today almost 300 people have season tickets.

At any rate I'm pumped for both programs and the direction JB is taking our athletics.

No, that's a fair statement...I mean you can make any number tell whatever story you want....if they were against LU they could have stated the numbers you proved and then a LU supporter would fire back with the actual %. That is kind of funny how they didnt give the actual number...I guess it's not at a total they are proud of yet...I dont know

I thought it was pretty funny they didn't give the number either. They did with football. I'm sure the total is in the hundreds and not thousands. Hopefully, I will be at the point next year financially, where I can get season tickets for basketball and football rather than just football this year.

Yeah, that's the first rule of sales... mention whatever makes you look better (% or actual numbers). Still, an increase is an increase.
