Jason prob. is the best bet (not to mention I saw him with what appears to be a GF who just so happens to work in the NCAA Compliance dept!!! So talk about connections!) but seriously from what I'm hearing unless someone steps up with a inside connection to a Nigerian pipeline, I think it should be Jasons....there are a few more names being thrown around but I'm not quite sure how serious they are

Just wanted to give a quick update, that pipeline that a lot of us were hoping for may be in the works....a Nigerian coach who seems to be well qualified and interested will be on campus for an interview next week. How great would that be for the team, I wouldnt mind a few more Aluma's and Julius'

There is a ton of Nigerian talent down here in Houston (i.e. Emeka Okafor & others) that it would be outstanding to send Liberty's way (insert Liberty Way joke here).

Guys, why are we talking about this man's personal relationships? Come on. I don't think these sort of things need to be mentioned IMO. That goes slightly beyond the scope of what we should talk about on here.

I think it's ok to say someone is dating someone (as long as it's not an affair!) but never mention names....but whatever, it's all good

I don't see what the big deal is, but whatever. But the department you did mention has like 1 employee so basically you made it obvious. I just hope the decision on who is replacing Martin will be soon so everyone has some time to adjust before the season starts.

The Nigerian Coach is still in Nigeria and wont be in the states for his interview until the 18th or so, so we should have an answer pretty soon, I know there is a lot of respect from Coach D and it sounds very positive and there seems to be a pipeline that comes with it

Well, that should go without saying. Although I think coach Green did it the opposite way. Got a lot of foreign players THEN a foreign assistant coach. Should be interesting! Anyone rent The Air Up There? Maybe this is happening in real life!

Watch out for the Mingori tribe.
Seriously, this would be a great development should it come to fruition.
