I would say to 150 or maybe 125 depending at how good VT is when we play them...it's just that the Big South isn't a super hard conference in the eyes of the powers that be so we don't tend to get much love in the rankings...

185 out of 340 isn't bad at all though...

We broke the top 100 a few times in the 90's during coach Meyer's (and mine) last couple of years. Our schedule was a little tougher and we won 23 games one season. If we win 20 games with this schedule even in the big south, we would probably break the top 100.

I think he's completely effective. If he's in the game, the lane doesn't exist.

he may have no skill whatsoever...but when you are 7-7 it doesn't matter too much...if he could just play longer then 15 minutes....

Yea when he is in I will say he shuts down the lane but he is so slow and is awe full in the transition...

That's what I mean. Watching teams w/ players like this definitely results in mixed feelings. You're happy he's in the paint, but you want to scream when he can't compete in transition. I'd just pass on a recruit like this.

Yea it's great he's tall...he's a freak but if he can't play bball what is the point?

It doesn't matter that George has very little skills. The fact he's 7'7 and not a skinny guy like Shawn Bradley, that's what makes him the biggest game changer in the league, and probably in most of basketball. His stats equate to averaging 20 blocks a game if he can stay on the court. Everyone in the league would love to have him, you need a stop, put him in and play zone.
