Too Much Info

Ok....so im glad to see the new getting to know you section on the website...and it made me happy to see what the new jersey's looked like (although they seemed to be missing something in the way of a nike symbol i thought i heard about)
here is my complaint
this anderson kid says... that he wishes he was better at jumping...JUMPING? is that not a pre-requisite of playing basketball especially if you are 6'3? I hope he means that he wishes he could jump a little higher...at least he would be less suspect.
Now I am sure that he was brought in for a reason and he has game and I am sure all of you out there that are fans of his will let me know soon how wrong and uninformed I am and maybe even how few posts i have yet to make....I just dont want to hear a player on my team talking about how he cannot jump.
PS I am not impressed by his shoe size either... Play Basketball

Didn't you get the memo? White men can't jump :P Really though there are a lot more things you can bring to the table besides a 37 inch vertical, a standing broad jump of 9'6'' and a 4.39 40 yard dash. Being a smart player that can handle the ball, make good decisions and shoot it in consistently are all very good assets to have. Every is not LeBron and Kobe. Damon Jones can't jump over a piece of paper but he is in the NBA. Moses Malone was the best rebounder of his time and at 6-10 looked like he could barely dunk at times. Jeremy will be fine.

coming from the scar....ill bank on it
maybe he will grow to 6'10 or wake up one morning with kobe's game :D
i guess its just my preference to have players with springs for legs...it makes the losses easier to watch if you throw a few white boy dunks in here or there

It's true, with the lone exception of a very special Woody Harrelson reverse slam, white men, indeed, cannot jump :D

As far as Anderson goes, he's expected to add some outside scoring strength to this team -- he has had health issues, though.

I do like the template though.

Anderson has a really good bio. I look forward to seeing him on the court, and i know he is here for shooting not jumping.

are you calling me a creep...or is the logo creeping?:dontgetit
but one thing i am sure of is there is a glaring swoosh on your sig...on wyntons face shield
and the swoosh doesnt bother me... if anything i feel its become synonomous with success for what its worth (thanks to a gentleman with a similar moniker to yours sj)

Logo creep is a term coined by Paul Lukas and Uni Watch. It talks about where companies slap their logo on anything possible and you end up being a walking billboard for the logo instead of the school/organization.

Super, that Sport Management major is really paying off (or did you acquire that knowledge independently of class notes?).

I've been reading Uni Watch since it opened over a year ago. I've always been a big fan of Paul Lukas' stuff on ESPN.com.

As for Nike, the entire team got brand new Air Force Ones in Liberty colors the other day from Nike's director of college sports. He flew in from the west coast to visit three schools: North Carolina, Duke, and Liberty.
