countdown to tip-off????

The SID and his staff did a great job getting with the football team and keeping us out of towners informed throughout the build up to the current football season, with their "Countdown to Kickoff" updates on the website....is there any word or plan on if a similar media feature will be started up for the basketball season. It seemed there was probably a person taking snapshots each day at practice then writing up an article for the football countdown, I am not sure that they would have the time with football right in the middle of its season to do this again, but it sure would be nice.
IDK just a thought...if anyone has a clue to if they are doing it or a better reason/excuse for not doing it

I agree with you about the great job the SID staff has done this year...I can tell you that thtey have done 2 stories since practice started last Friday and one more will be going up tomorrow...Also you can expect 3 stories a week during the pre-season.....I hope that answers your question

when is my feature going to be put up?

I can't wait to see the guide! Also it is good to see that RMK is announcing the Alumni game and their scrimmage the following morning!
Can't wait!!!!!

I know I have often been a critic of that website in the past, but this year has been completely different...they have done a great job and seem to keep on improving!

When is the scrimmage? I didn't see anything on the website. I'll be down homecoming weekend so if there having a scrimmage I'd like to see it.

10:45 am, does that cut into tailgating time? Or should we tailgate for that?

I'd rather tailgate than watch a scrimmage.

Did you tailgate right through the spring blue/white game? I'll be at the scrimmage.

No, we tailgated until the scrimmage. I could care less about a scrimmage a month and a half before the first game. Later in the year I'm sure there's a basketball game after a football game (exhibition) and I'll stop tailgating to go to that because it's a real game.
