On Andre Jones out of Suffolk, Va?
He verballed to WU today, apparently was a 4 star a month ago and listed as three star now. Apparently UVA, VT, among others offered him. Also listed as a top 100 guard in the country. Has anyone seen him play or know about him?

Very nice.... er.... uh.... Id much rather have 80000000 2-stars than 1 4-star
So what color did Peele pick for his angry face, orange?

I think realest knows exactly where Suffolk is...it's probably open on his computer right now on mapquest stoked about the talent they just landed from there.
I think he simply asked so we could see they're getting 4 star athletes!

This is what they have up on the WU board, Andre was listed as 4 stars on rivals less than a month ago.

That was put out today.
I was just curious if anyone has seen him or heard of him since he's from your home state.

That's BJ's territory I think. He should be able to shed some light on if this guy is better or worse than Ryan Barbosa.

From what I'm seeing, this is the most highly touted recruit to ever come into the Big South. Although Middleton might be before it's all said and done, he was just selected the US U19 Elite team to play overseas.

I thought that Brian Faison was the "top recruit ever" for the Big South

I guess "The Faison Era" will only last one year.

He'll probably be the best ever freshman, only to be benched the following season and outdone by the next best ever freshman ... this is scary good ... I'll bet that even Duke couldn't follow that one up.

Best Frosh ever has to be Conley ( VMI ) and until someone can put up those kind of numbers as a frosh in the BS, you can associate however many stars you want with any of these kids.....that guy was a freak.

You forgot about offers from Duke, Maryland, Michigan, Stanford, UCLA, Kentucky, and the Pueblo School of the Arts.
Also, I heard that Denny Crum wanted him too, but he's retired.

how did you guys land him when you're not mentioned at all?

Well, I don't wanna create a controversy, but I heard that Greg Marshall over at Witicha State passed on him.

Don't get too worked up over this kid... his stock fell this summer. He is similiar to Seth but more more athletic. He was really good when he was younger, that's why he had the big boys on him(High Major schools) he leveled off and fell to the Big South... Why wouldn't VCU be all over him if he was a 4 star. George Mason recruited him because they wanted his teammate Nicholas Wright and him as a package. Nice commitment for WU though.
