Here's a big down here in Texas that we are in the mix for heading to the Spring Signing Period:

MVP of his Private School District (TAPPS 1-6A)

Originally Committed to Air Force back in October but apparently had issues with a physical that he is appealing. In the meantime he is back on the market. Obviously based on who is offering him, academics are not a problem for Bobby.

Here is the list of schools that have offered him:

Boston University (Official Visit back in Sept 2005)

Princeton

we only stick out a LITTLE in that list! the kid must have at least a 3.8 GPA. Impressive.

In light of where the staff was on Monday, I'm curious to see if we hear any news regarding Bobby.

The last update that Rivals had on him was a week ago and at that time he only had firm offers he was concsidering from LaTech, Navy & Lafayette. He mentioned he was considering spending a year at a prep to increase his visibility. He visited Hargrave, Massanutten & Fork Union but was hoping to make a few official visits before making up his mind.

Here is the analysis from Texas Hoops:

Bobby is a hard worker who can step outside and hit the face up jumper and go inside and work for rebounds. He has a smooth stroke with 3-point range, is an effective high screen-and-roll player and has a good understanding of the game. He works hard for position in the paint, will battle on defense and is a good passer off the high post.
