I don't know if anyone posted this yet, but its a cool highlight reel of last year. The only embarrassing part about this the empty vines center?

This video is a start. At least we're headed in tehe direction of producing something like this every year.
What disappointed me was that so many of the highlights were simply repeated from a different camera angle. That's a nice trick for a really good play to show it from multiple angles, but when you come back to a play again later in the video, just from a different angle, it appears cheap, like we're struggling to fill time. The worst was seeing the Brew dunk on VMI twice, almost 2 mins. apart, and still from the same camera angle!
I'd also suggest mixing the play-by-play and analysis into the highlights, aybe hearing what Scar had to say about a nice dunk, or his reaction to a Blair 3. That would mix it up a bit rather than JUST a soundtrack.
Anyways, I agree that seeing an empty vines center in the background is depressing, but overall, I'm happy to see something like this. I would suppose Bruce Carey and his guys are responsible for it. Nice job to him and his team!

Is the Vines that big or is there just a complete lack of interest on campus? I never remember empty seats at a home game back in the day. (Jeff Myer era, smaller gym)

The Vines is a good-sized place and our attendance really has taken a slide the past couple of years. Hopefully the new staff will re-energize the place this season.

I saw the video and it was very nicely produced, unfortunately Bruce Carey and his team didn't produce it. If anyone knows how to contact the person who did it, he needs to contact Liberty's SID who would like to use it on the website.

The basketball office has put together some Larry-Centric videos from our games as well for the recruits. I saw a couple that Jason Eaker did last season and it did have my voice over the highlights (oh yeah and Ray Jones too ). I thought they did a good job. The athletic dept should go the source which is Bruce Carey and Joe Barry. They could and probably have put together a video 10 times as long and better. No offense to the person that did the youtube thing though. I thought they did a great job.

Some of those guys did some excellent spots for Larry and Brew. There was some rumblings that ESPN asked for a lot of tape on Brew--they put together one heckuva highlight reel.

Last season, Brew was LU's version of the "human highlight reel."

If you were told that on your first post, then you have no excuse. You should have known. It's common courtesy on every message board on the Internet that you don't type in all caps. If you can't be courteous, you'll be the one that has to get over it. The caps lock key is there to help some data entry people do their jobs, not for you to be lazy.

And NEVER write a college paper in all caps; professors don't like it either.
On the other hand, papers with perfect spelling and good research make professors want to do
