booo, it's a wednesday. That'd be a tough trip for me to make. But GMU game is on a Sunday.

Perhaps I can make the GMU game, I'm not going to rule out Va Tech yet. It depends on if I can take the following day off, or come in late.

also, I'm very excited to see the Coker College Cobras on the schedule!

What are we, a bunch of wimps? It's only a 90 minute drive. The game will start at no later than 7:30, and will be over before 10. If it starts at 7, it could be as early as 9. Is 11:30 past our beddy-bye time?

100% yes it is. But in manson's defense, he lives in Richmond.

Yes, 11:30 is past my bed time! :D But there's no way I can get back by then anyways. Also, if I went by that rationale, I would end up at every game on the schedule, but I can't do that. Maybe if I was still in school, but not now.

I'm pretty sure the last time we played them, was pre-Barber.

Sorry manson, I was thinking Lynchburg. It certainly would be more of a trip from Richmond.

I bet the players are a lot more excited about going to California than their original tournament in Alaska. Looking over our schedule, is Kentucky the only team that we won't have a chance against? I don't know how tough Fresno, San Diego State, or East Carolina are.

The games out west will be tough. East Carolina is beatable but will be tough on the road to beat.

San Diego St. was pretty darn good last year with an RPI of 66, but they lost their 2 leading scorers. I would still think this would be a tough game to win for LU. Fresno was also pretty good last year at 22-9 and loses one senior, and returns 7 juniors from last year. They could be really good. ECU should suck as usual.

Scar & Realist, thanks for your west coast & East Carolina perspectives. Last year's team finished with a record of 14-17 (8-6 in conference). Now that we have a new schedule posted, any predictions on McKay's first year record?

18-14. I had in my mind that I was going to create a sub-.500 record because of it being McKay's 1st year with players he didn't recruit but as I went 1 by 1 through the schedule, it seems pretty light.

Nope. Kentucky's AD is Mitch Barnhardt, who was McKay's old boss at Oregon State. McKay and Billy Gillespie are good friends, too.

I wonder if they still have my boy Socks on the team. He wore one high sock and one regular sock when Coastal played them. They sucked.

18-14 is a fair assessment.

longwood, nyac, kentucky christian, and coker. wow way to make a tough non-conference schedule.

i guess you havent look at the part of the schedule where we play Kentucky, George Mason, the tournament out west, and Virginia Tech and even Niagara. This part of th schedule will be the toughest.

your right, and westminster, roberts wesleyan, ferrum, etc last year must have been really challenging for Lyncburg College eh?
