Sweet! I'm assuming that's the hallway leading to the basketball office?

according to the article- its the hallway between the mens/ladies offices.

I wouldn't know where that is, b/c the tour promised to me by SCAR never materialized and I never got to see that :dramaqueen

assuming this will be an ongoing thing as the classes pass thru hoops? maybe every 3 to 4 years?

What is this? Image

To dark to be a floor. And I don't think we have the money to keep a chunk of a floor we won on anyway.

most likely A/V stuff- common in boardrooms, etc, these days

you open it up and there's probably a white board, dry erase markers- can be used to show power point presentations as well

just a guess

Your guess is correct....Medic, you haven't been to the hoops offices? Well now you will have nothing to compare this to but trust me it is really great. I saw the markups of this stuff back in May and I loved it. I guess this is what Jeff Barber was talking about at the Final 4 when he told me the Vines Center is going to have some serious improvements. I wonder if there is more to come. And yes they will cycle out the pictures. I vote for a throw back wall say Sirca 1990?

I can live with that :) I am also willing to call it the Alston/Scarborough era and not just the Scarborough Era. Bailey did contribute somewhat to the program that he needs his due right? :P 8) :P

As the official FF Bailey Alston fan, I have to question the naming of this era. Think it might need to be the ALSTON/Scarborough era. Just kidding Scar, you were AWESOME. I'm sure you caused me to hurl many rolls of TP!

That made me laugh man...You reminded me of Libertine a little on that one. I have never seen my name in print so small before. In my mind though it was font 45 in bold though. Delusions of grandure are a lot of fun aren't they?

Thank you for the complement, and just for that here: SCARBOROUGH!

Thanks Knuckle. That made my day...Nice touch with the all caps too. I'm starting to well up with real tears ....BTW I love the idea of using the current players. It will be awkward though if someone leaves school though. I wonder how long it would take to replace their picture? It probably won't matter though....This project would look good in the FOC too especially for Flames Club days.

I'd hope the graphics are simply vinyl or something over some backer board plastic material... If that were the case replacing the images would take as long as it would take to print on a plotter and re-affix it to the backerboard.

Nextel cars are doing about 1/3 of their "paint jobs" this way now. They can add and take away sponsors each week if they have to. I'd think these things could be redone easily if coach decides.

The other thing is that we can put a potential recruit into one of the pictures by using an adhesive vinyl instead of a sticker-back. It would be a nice touch.

You are thinking exactly the way I was thinking, Tally. I know the big boys down here (UT and A&M) do similar things to impress the kids during visits.

this is pretty sweet, but how much of an impact do you all think this will have in recruiting?
