My big question for Scar and others is, who will be our team leader/our captain next year?

I think Rell and Anthony are shoo-ins but the third, if there is one, is up for debate.

Captain: Rell Porter and probably Smith or Holland

Also, just give Armon the ball

Regarding leadership, I think we will continue to get that from Rell, even if his minutes go down. He has been a captain since his sophomore year. Smitty needs to step up in that area as well, and as PG, I believe TJ will be closer to a "coach on the floor" than we have had in a long time.

Either you're living with him and Brock or we got us a problem.

Brock doesn't live with him

Oh, I thought he did. I forget who told me they moved off together. I guess I'm just wrong yet again.

So dickens, do you see something in Armon that the rest of us don't? He has some potential, good hands and post moves, but has miles to go in the area of intensity and conditioning. I would think Ace would be a good role-model there. I heard someone, (maybe it was SCAR) say that if either Nwosu ot Aluma had Armon's hands, they would have had solid NBA careers and I tend to agree, especially about Julius, who was a really athletic 6'10" but had hands like Roberto Duran.

Armon has some decent moves in the post but couldn't gaurd SJ. There were times last year where he'd get about 34 fouls in two minutes.

I saw Armon play while he was in prep school....much better shape then, and he played very well against the Patterson School a powerhouse in North Carolina hoops. I see him play around and he indicates potential all over, but he needs someone to get him excited about playing.....I think people will come around as Armon gets more PT and some shots

i think most can agree....Armon is twice as ready as Winters would have been

Maybe physically but Winters trumps him in every area of the game skill-wise.

okay, you can no longer post about either player

Armon is a whole level of play above Winters

Winters range is 3 feet and in

I drained the 3rd and 4th of 5 half court shots on Saturday myself and I don't even play or practice everyday....I saw Armon play on Saturday and he can be difficult to get along with on the court to say the least but I think he can help us win some games. If he keeps mouthing off, he will be in the best shape ever because RMK doesn't play! I like the way that sounds :D

I would love to take your money and split it with Armon so that you could watch that.

Scar, you don't want to admit it, but we all know that you secretly practice every day getting ready for next year's alum game.
